What is Argus RSS?
The Argus RSS feed allows you to retrieve the latest free news stories automatically without needing to visit the site. RSS feeds can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or "aggregator.”
Modern Web Browser
Most modern browsers, including Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome automatically check for feeds when you visit a website, and display the orange RSS icon when they find one. This will be displayed in the toolbar.

Web-Based Reader
Web-based news readers check feeds and display any new additions. If you use a web-based reader you can catch up with your RSS feed from any computer. This can be added into personal home pages for example ‘igoogle’ or ‘My yahoo’.

Some email software (such as Outlook) allows you to read RSS feeds. Dedicated reader software is also available, which can be installed on your computer.

Once you have chosen a news reader then simply click on the RSS icon. Depending on which reader you have chosen, you will be given the option to add the feed into your RSS reader or be shown a url which is then copied and pasted into the reader.
